DJ BLINGG

Jessica Jackson is a DJ & Music Producer born in South Memphis, Tennessee. She sings, writes & produces music with her four sisters in a band called JCKSN AVE. Her sound is an unpredictable mix between mid-tempo house, throwback underground Memphis hip-hop mixed with garage with a heavy dose of drum n’ bass. J

Peroli started her DJ career in 2018, bringing in her sets the songs she would like to hear on the dance floor. Within less than 2 years , she performed at several important events such as SP NA RUA, Virada Cultural Paulista, and Arte at MASP. Peroli is one of the creators of the Side Grime party, which focuses on promoting, and exploring the sound possibilities within the grime scene and its aspects in Brazil. In 2021, she had her name mentioned in an article by Pitchfork - one of the most important media for world music, which brought a list of references from women who are promoting the grime scene in Brazil.

Sippin’ T is a DJ and Space Maker based in the Blue Mountains of Kingston, Jamaica and born in South London, UK. Their practice is inherently political, highlighting class, colonial legacies, ancestral traditions and gender through conversation, gathering, sound and visuals as a call to finding home within while understanding collaboration under capitalism. Their DJ practice reclaims the texture and multiple faces of electronic music from a Black & Global Majority perspective, a sonic journey fusing nature with technology,  ambient with club, the past with presence.

Aimée is an emerging DJ based in Accra. She started DJ'ing with the womxn collective VVE in Denmark and moved to Accra in 2021. Aimée is a resident DJ of Oroko Radio, an independent internet radio station based in Accra. Aimée blazes the dancefloor with her blends of Afrohouse, Afrobeats & Afro-Latino rhythms: sounds with deep percussions that make the people move & dance. The few alternative music venues in the city have made Aimée and other creatives to create their own underground spaces where all genres are allowed.

Jane Inyang is a multidisciplinary artist working on Ngunnawal/Ngambri country whose current art practices include film, photography and DJing. As a DJ, Jane has a penchant for club music from the African and Black diaspora. She has supported a wide range of artists such as Leikeli47, SHERELLE, Culoe De Song and Marcellus Pittman - reflecting an ability to work a crowd of any genre. Her selections reveal a strong understanding of rhythm and a deep sensibility for tracks that are cutting-edge and lend themselves to broad dancefloor appeal.
